Slackline & Mindfulness Feb. 24th
Saturday, February 24th
In the heart of the Winter, OM Sanctuary offers a warm & inviting indoor space to find balance - physically, mentally, & emotionally.
Over the course of two, 2-hour workshops throughout the month of February we will strengthen our bodies and minds through an engaging combination of slackline & mindfulness practice. Slacklining is an emerging balance sport that offers an array of health benefits - from increasing focus & concentration to building leg & core strength. The sport offers an easy and exciting avenue to bring embodied movement into mindfulness practice. Slack-Librium founder Jesse Goldman has designed each workshop for participants of any skill level in order to accommodate a diverse range of individuals. All participants will have the opportunity to achieve personally set goals within a supportive community. If you show up and participate, you will make noticeable personal progression in each class - guaranteed! Each 2 hour class will include a blend of experiential mindfulness practice, reflection, group discussion, and of course slackline instruction & practice! Each class will revolve around a separate theme: Relaxation, Concentration, Balance, & Patience.
Registration: Registration: $50 for both classes. $30 for Individual classes. For maximum benefits and discounted rates we encourage you to sign up for the series!
Registration is limited to 12 participants per class. Partial scholarships are available for individuals in need of financial assistance - please email email@example.com for more information.
