TYNA'S ROOM 1 night for $125.00
Booking Icon
TYNA’S ROOM is a downstairs bedroom that features a half tester bed crafted from quarter sawn oak circa 1910. Quarter sawing wood is a process that eliminates the growth rings from being visible and produces a prominent ray fleck with ribbon figure. This full size bed was brought from Plaquemine Parish in Louisiana.

The beautiful, oriental rug fills the room with rich color, and your bath includes a charming claw-foot tub & pedestal sink.

THE CAPTAIN'S ROOM 1 night for $175.00
Booking Icon
THE CAPTAIN’S ROOM is the master bedroom upstairs. It features an antique carved and veneered queen size bed in the style of Daniel Pabst. The Captain’s bath has double sinks and a large Jacuzzi tub. You can enjoy your morning coffee in your room or on the balcony facing the Brazos River.

The bed featured in the Captain’s Room is a fine example of Daniel Pabst style cabinetry and veneer work. Matching mirrored veneers of burled walnut with dentil work and hand carving create the massive headboard of this queen sized bed. With the increased expense of exotic woods, Daniel Pabst perfected this craft and won a silver medal at the US Centennial Exposition (1876) held in Philadelphia. This is an exemplary piece of American furniture from the last quarter of the 19th century.

WELDON'S ROOM 1 night for $150.00
Booking Icon
WELDON’S ROOM is complimented by a hand carved queen sized, full tester, mahogany bed. This Anglo Indian bed was crafted in the land of spices and brought west by a sea traveler. The hand work and original size of this 1850’s bed make it a true rarity in examples of this period. Four poster beds were originally draped with mosquito netting to protect the occupants. The framework is left open to show the fine detail of the hand carving.

The vintage bath is equipped with a low profile tub and hand controls perfect for someone with mobility issues.

This bedroom is accessible via an outside entrance and elevator.

You can enjoy your morning coffee in your room or on the balcony facing the Brazos River.
